Welcome Back
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all back from the summer break and in particular to all the new players who will hopefully be signing on.
I hope that you soon come to realise that not only this is a good club to play football for but also that it is YOUR club.
Please feel free to introduce friends but they must be of a good standard.
We now have both teams in the top divisions for thier respective levels with the first team in the Lancs & Cheshire Premier and the Reserves in Division 2 our aim is to be really competitive in both these leagues this coming season.

Pre-season Training has started and is about regaining and improving your fitness levels, we will need every bit of fitness at the standard of the teams will be tough.
So we train on Wednesday nights at Garden Street start 1900 and Saturdays at 1130 at Garden Street.
We can only develop and get the full benefit of this if players attend to work on fitness and drills. Please do your best to attend.

New Season
The season starts for the 1st team on:
Sat 21st Aug:

Sat 28th Aug:

we will be having a number of pre season games and will let everyone know at the training sessions.

The Annual General Meeting was held on 22nd June and well attended. The elected members are listed below.

Curry Night
I am sure we will have one soon once Shopan gets round to organising one.

End of Season Tour
Still in the planning stage but Macca will open a savings account for anyone wishing to use it.

I can’t keep up with the number of babies that have been born within the club in recent months, the club contiunes to grow, well done.
Best wishes to you all and your lovely families.

Charter Standard
If you have a First Aid qualification or training certificate please let me know.

There will be no increase to last season.
Signing on fee £20
Match day subs £5

Training is essential if we are going to be successful so this needs to be addressed.

Macca has started to collect signing on money, please let me have yours, preferably before the start of the season.

We will yet again have the Premiership draw which has £780 in prize money and £700 to the club.

Good Woody hopefully will again set up a Fantasy Football League account.

If you have any suggestions to raise money please share and please support any initiatives.

We want to take the club forward and this year we have genuine optimism that we have the right number and calibre of players to do so. We have two teams but one club.

Managers have certain expectations of players:

·               we want you to attend training

·               we want you to be responsible for your fitness

·               you need to confirm match day arrangements

·               you need to advise if you are not available for selection with as much notice as possible.

Respect Campaign

The Lancs and Cheshire League are fully committed to the Respect Charter by promoting high standards of behavior. All clubs have been told what standards players and officials are expected to achieve. If there is ANY dissent shown to referees or opposing officials whatsoever, refs have been instructed to take action which will no doubt be upheld and supported.

If you have anything you wish to add or you would like to see on the Website, Pictures, Messages etc please e-mail us.
